North Point InsideOut/Centricity Music album “Nothing Ordinary” on WorshipTeam

North Point InsideOut Music has released “Nothing Ordinary” through Centricity Music and all songs are now loaded into WorshipTeam.com “Nothing Ordinary” is a recording of some great new songs.

North Point InsideOut will release its first project for Centricity Music on April 7th. Nothing Ordinary will feature five songs that were written and performed by North Point InsideOut worship leaders, musicians and songwriters. The first single, “Death Was Arrested,” is already having a powerful impact at Christian radio.

“Finally, a worship song that has movement, tempo and a story about a love that will never leave you or forsake you,” said Rodney Miller, Assistant Program Director, The Fish LA. “Listeners will instantly remember the day they first heard, ‘Death Was Arrested,’ as the powerful song will have an impact in their own lives.”

The concept for “Death Was Arrested” came from North Point drummer, Brandon Coker, after seeing a tombstone while visiting his uncle in St. Mary’s, Ga. It partially said, “Death arrested his progress.” It was two and a half years later when the tune came to fruition at a North Point student camp where several InsideOut band members, including Coker, were tossing around ideas for songs. They were focusing on making freedom, beauty, and grace the theme to weave throughout “Death Was Arrested.” With powerful lyrics, Alone in my sorrow dead in my sin/Lost without hope with no place to begin/Your love made a way to let mercy come in/When death was arrested and my life began, the song immediately resonates with listeners and has been recorded by such major artists as Laura Story and Aaron Shust. Aaron Shust/Centricity Music album “Love Made A Way” on WorshipTeam

Aaron Shust has released “Love Made A Way” through Centricity Music and all songs are now loaded into WorshipTeam.com “Love Made A Way” is a live recording of some great new songs.

Over the past decade, Aaron Shust has earned a reputation as one of Christian music’s most compelling songwriters and a vocalist of considerable depth and passion. He was named both New Artist and Songwriter of the Year at the 2007 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and the impact of his song, “My Savior My God” was recognized with the Song of the Year honor. He has continued to build on that early promise to become one of the community’s most creative and trusted voices.

Shust is well known for such hits as “My Hope is in You,” which spent 14 weeks at No. 1, “No One Higher,” which hit the summit on the Inspirational chart and “Ever Be,” which made its way to No. 3 on the NCA chart. “O Come O Come Emmanuel” has become a perennial holiday favorite, earning acclaim as the most played song each December for 10 years in a row.

As potent as Shust’s voice is alone, there’s a special anointing that happens when he engages other believers in worship, and that anointing is readily evident on his new live album Love Made a Way, a collection of familiar worship anthems mingled with powerful new songs. “I’d been encouraged by friends and family for years to do a live record,” says Shust, admitting he was initially hesitant. As he completed his first decade as a recording artist though, it just seemed like the right time. “Hitting the 10-year mark, it felt like a new season, like a little celebration, a tip of the hat to the first 10 years. We had a guest speaker recently at our church talk about how God is a God of celebration. God wanted to make sure His people were able to remember and celebrate their past. So I felt that after 10 years, it was time to celebrate.”

That spirit of celebration infuses every moment on Love Made a Way with a sense of purpose and exuberance. “To hear voices in a crowd singing along changes the game for me,” says Shust, a Pennsylvania native who led worship in church for years before gaining a national platform as a recording artist.

“I’ve always said that in a concert setting I want people to worship. I am always encouraging people to sing along. The biggest compliment I can receive after a concert is when someone says, ‘that was less of a concert and more of a church service, more of a worship experience.’ I’m like, ‘Mission accomplished! That’s exactly what I wanted.’ So, to have people singing along on this album is pretty magnificent.

“When I invited people to be a part of this recording, I wanted to make sure they wanted to worship. I didn’t want them to be just spectators. I wanted them to be worshippers. I wanted them to be desirous of entering into the presence of God, raising their hands and closing their eyes if they wanted to, and that’s how the night was. It was a genuine experience of worship.”

Shust was very intentional in choosing songs for Love Made a Way. “Five are songs that I’ve recorded over the past twelve years, standards that I’m going to play every night in concert,” he says. “And some of those songs we play very differently from the original recordings. For example, “My Savior My God,” we never play it live the way people are used to hearing it. This was a chance to take some of the songs we play live every night and freshen up the recordings, but I also wanted to write new songs and offer new thoughts, new praises and new worship.” All songs are loaded and ready to use- just access your WorshipTeam.com system database.

Jordan Feliz/Centricity Music album “The River” on WorshipTeam

300

Jordan Feliz has released “The River” through Centricity Music and all songs are now loaded into WorshipTeam.com “The River” is a recording of some great new songs.

Chart topping newcomer, Jordan Feliz, is scheduled to release his first full album for Centricity Music, The River, on April 22nd. Once again teaming with Joshua Silverberg (Michael W. Smith, Newsboys) and Colby Wedgeworth (Lincoln Brewster) as producers, Feliz delivers seven new songs and the project also features four songs from Feliz’s debut EP, Beloved. This includes “The River” that remained No. 1 on Billboard’s National Christian Audience Chart for 10 weeks, No. 1 on the Hot AC/CHR Chart for seven weeks, AC Indicator Chart for six weeks, and AC Monitored Chart for one week. At the same time, Feliz has garnered 4 million video views with his performance/lyric videos for the song.

“When we released Jordan’s EP late last year the plan was to work that project for the next year and then release his debut full CD. But due to the phenomenal success and high interest for Jordan’s EP, we decided to push the release of his first full album to meet this demand,” explains Steve Ford, General Manager, Centricity Music. “Jordan has a tremendous reach since his music is very relatable across the board with demographics, ranging from young kids to mature adults. He is the ultimate entertainer, as besides making great music, he delivers a strong live performance whether it’s acoustic or with a band. Of course the main driving force for Jordan and the label is to deliver the message of hope, forgiveness, and restoration that he so wants to tell.”

Adds Feliz, “I am so beyond excited to be releasing my new record and can’t wait for everyone to hear it. It is packed full of songs I completely believe in, and I feel like God has had His hands on this project. It’s been an honor and so humbling to receive such strong support from everyone in the Christian music industry, and I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community. To God be the glory!”

The River showcases the incredible talent of Feliz with soul-influenced pop numbers and heart rendering ballads that are presented in a fresh and modern sound. You will know from the start that you are listening to an exciting, new artist with the album’s intro, “Carry Your Troubles,” with a 78 record player presentation that includes the scratchy backdrop of an album well worn. From the rhythmic mid-tempo songs “Never Too Far Gone,” “Your Great Hands,” to the upbeat “Best Of Me,” “Cheer You On,” “Live It Out,” and the new ballad “How Long,” Feliz does not disappoint with strong lyrics and different and innovative musical styles. The River definitely spotlights the growth of this artist in just a few short months between projects and shows the emergence of a major performer within the industry.
