This year, our Dreaming The Impossible (DTI) festival was the largest ever, with over 1,000 people attending a new venue in Newark.

The worship when the Vineyard tribe gather from around the movement is always special, but the sound of a young generation is unforgettable. As they worship with a fresh energy, uncontained passion and a intimate cry to their loving Father. Vineyard Records UK were able to capture some of the worship this year and Tribe releases at the end of June.
This 6-track EP will be titled Tribe (Live From Dreaming The Impossible 2017).

Tribe will include 4 brand new songs from Dave Miller & Andy Hatherly including the anthem of the weekend ‘Tribe’ written for the event. The track list will include the songs: ‘Praise The Lord (Victory In His Hands)’, ‘Fill Us Again’, ‘King Of Love’, ‘Tribe’, ‘What A Beautiful Name’ and ‘Glorious Day’.

It is our belief in the Vineyard that our worship is for God, to pour out our hearts to him and our lives in service to him, to experience the love of God – then to carry that love with us into a desperate world. We worship a God who is present among us, in times of both joy and sorrow. The song selection reflects that heart. More features two recent Vineyard songs ‘Great Are You Lord (Lifting You Higher)’ written by Dave Miller and ‘All My Love’ written by Samuel Lane and Joe Blustin. Also captured are the Jesus Culture anthem ‘Never Gonna Stop Singing’ and John Mark & Sarah McMillan’s new song ‘King Of My Heart’ alongside a new live version of the John Wimber classic ‘Isn’t He’ and an intimate version of David Ruis’ ‘I Will Give You All My Praise’ led by Harmony Smith during a ministry time.

When we worship, we make Jesus the central focus of our affection. We sense God’s presence with us, the Spirit of God touching us, and communicating to us the Father’s love.

rare to hear worship captured the way it really was in the moment, but All My Love does just that. The resulting recording is raw, raucous in parts, but real and more beautiful for that. Clocking in at 67 minutes this 6-track recording is just like an original long play. Worship leaders are Samuel Lane (St Albans Vineyard) and Susanne Courtney (Manchester Vineyard). Samuel has an extraordinary anointing for worship coupled with an equally extraordinary voice. He is someone who will not settle in worship, but will always seek the place of intimacy. The title track All My Love is written by him and Joe Blustin and is a hugely affecting song which speaks of recognizing what God has done for us and knowing what our response should be to Him. It is a song which carries a real anointing. Samuel led it at David’s Tent earlier this year and there was a profound outpouring of the Spirit in that moment. Similarly, on this recording you will hear a whole congregation singing at the top of their lungs as they simply declare, “All my love, All my love, All my love is Yours, my love.” Alongside All My Love is another new song from Samuel called Saved plus new recordings of Our Father (Meier), Great Are You Lord (All Sons & Daughters) and Pour It Out (Lane/Lampert). Also a beautiful version of United Pursuit’s Simple Gospel taken from the ministry time at the end of the night. This is not an album that sounds like many other worship albums. It’s not been fixed and over-dubbed but more importantly you can really hear people singing. On the night there were hundreds of young people abandoned in praise to Jesus, dedicating their lives to him and that passion can clearly be heard. The title-track, ‘The Feast’ is a celebration of God’s presence with us as we worship. Harmony says: ‘In the Vineyard, one of our core values in worship is intimacy with Jesus. The word intimacy can be a hurdle for some people, but ultimately it’s about connecting with the living presence of Jesus. We were made to worship. That is what the song, ‘The Feast’ is about. It expresses the joy that we experience in His presence. This is what our cities and towns, our churches and families are hungry for: the life-changing presence of Jesus.’

The songs on this EP have been birthed in a community that has been on a journey with intimacy in worship. Songs like ‘The Feast’ and ‘We Will Rise ‘ are more corporate and celebratory, while ‘One Thing’, ‘Home’ and ‘Jesus Pure and Holy’ (written by another member of Belfast City Vineyard, Andy Eaton) take us to a more personal place of encounter. The rich language of the hymn, ‘Fairest Lord Jesus’, reminds us of who it is that we worship.

Harmony and her husband Andy came to Belfast in 2001 as interns from Evanston Vineyard in Chicago. After 18 months they were asked to take over as Senior Pastors. Looking back on the last 11 years as pastors, Harmony reflects: ‘We’ve shared an awesome time discovering what it really means to lead a church and understanding how faithful God is in it…that He has used us in spite of our weakness and brokenness.”
