Origin Story from United Pursuit

Recorded between 2013 – 2015, Garden (Live) is a 12-song album featuring original early recordings of the songs from Garden, our 5th studio album.

These tracks were written during our live worship gatherings in Knoxville over the course of three years as we gathered weekly to worship as a community. They are the early, not-quite-complete versions, the spontaneous origins, of the Garden songs.

Many of you have requested that we release both the live and raw alongside the studio versions. The material feels relevant and meaningful to us so we went for it.

These songs don’t exist because we decided to sit down and write them but only because our community floundered collectively until we had words that made sense for the moment. These songs are prayers, they are reminders, they are intercession for ourselves and for each other. A huge thank you goes to everyone who showed up, participated and contributed their voice. These songs are for you, they are for our families, they are for those moments when we need to remember a little bit of deep truth. Our gratitude, respect and love is with each of you.

The Belonging Co is a church movement based in Nashville TN. Pastored by Henry & Alex Seeley, the church has cultivated a strong worship community since it’s inception in 2014. Their debut release “All The Earth” is a collection of worship moments from their church gatherings, and features the likes of Lauren Daigle, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Sarah Reeves, Mia Fieldes, Meredith Andrews, Hope Darst, Andrew Holt and Henry Seeley, all who are a part of the church community at The Belonging Co.

The songs on this record have been written by their team to put voice to what God is doing in the lives of their church in Nashville, many of which will no doubt quickly find a home in worship lists across the country.

Veteran worship leader, singer-songwriter and new Capitol CMG recording artist Mack Brock will release his first-ever solo studio project. The brand-new, nine-track album consists of digital songs inspired by God’s continued faithfulness throughout challenging seasons.

Last year, after a decade of being on staff, leading worship and producing the albums of Elevation Worship, Brock felt that the Lord was ending his assignment at Elevation Church and made the difficult decision to peacefully resign. Having no inclination as to where the Lord was leading next, he was able to spend time reflecting and writing and then, unexpected to him, began a new season as a solo artist. With lyrics that are relatable to so many, Greater Things considers what it means to step into the unknown by faith, believing for something, even when what is to come has yet to be seen.

“Knowing God was changing my assignment from being on staff at Elevation Church to something new and different was honestly terrifying,” says Brock. “Not knowing what’s next and stepping out in faith can be terrifying for all of us, but we serve a good God, a big God who doesn’t leave us or forsake us. I’m learning that it’s far more terrifying to not walk in obedience than it is to take that step into the unknown. This album has helped me with that journey. The songs on this project have been reminders to me of God’s faithfulness and of His never-ending love for us. I hope that listeners find the same encouragement as I have in this season.”

“You’re Carrying Me” was written by songwriter, Casey Corum (and friend Kris MacQueen), after experiencing an unexpected end to his role as a senior worship pastor. In the ensuing season, Casey had the distinct sense that the Lord was not only carrying him and his family through the difficult time, but that the Lord was also running into a new future. Written in response to this deep sense, “You’re Carrying Me” carries the tangible immediacy of that season in its essence. Powerful vocals provided by Joshua Miller from Desert Vineyard Church in Lancaster, California help bring this hopeful song home.
