We will continue to update our Blog as new features are released.

Uploading PDF/Sheet Music Just Got Easier!

Some customers prefer using sheet music over chord charts. Now when adding a song or creating your custom view of a song, you no longer need to go to “Advanced Mode” to upload your PDF. After entering your song title or view title, simply click the “Upload PDF/Sheet Music” tab and drag and drop your file. Then from the same screen you can change the Display option from the chord chart to the PDF you just uploaded. One of our goals at WorshipTeam.com is to make your life easier and we feel this is another step in that direction!

Below you can see in 3 easy steps how to upload your PDF/Sheet Music:

Once uploaded you can change the Display by simply selecting the file and clicking Save:

Now when you add this view to your set, you and your team will see the PDF/Sheet Music instead of the chord chart!

Audio Now Available on WT Mobile!

“Will there ever come a time when we can play the set on a mobile device?”

YES – The time has come! We have heard loud and clear from our customers the need to play their sets while away from their computers. Now when viewing your set, or a song within your set, you will see a Play button on WT Mobile. Simply click the play button and within a few moments it will be “music to your ears”.

Windows Mobile users will be prompted to install the music player from the WT Mobile login screen. iPhones, iTouches and Blackberries work without any additional software or configuration.

Aside from the obvious benefit of mobile access as you are traveling, in your car or at the office, WT Mobile audio means that most teams no longer need to worry about burning CDs, downloading mp3s or audio files and such. Most mobile devices have stereo mini-jacks/ports that can feed into a church sound system, an audio docking station (such as iHome etc), car or home stereos. Your audio is now portable and you can practice with it, listen to it, and take it with you as far as your mobile connection can go. This is a wonderful advantage for worship teams, musicians and worship leaders. And it is all legal and completely included with your Worshipteam.com subscription at no extra cost, meaning you don’t have to worry about additional purchasing of licensing or listening resources for your team to have access to audio.

New Display Option while Browsing Songs

While browsing songs in WorshipTeam.com you have probably noticed a plus (“+”) symbol next to certain song titles. This indicates multiple versions of the same song are available.

By default, the “Tree View” option is on as shown here:

Once you click the tree control (plus symbol “+”) next to the song title you will see a list of the various versions below:

You now have the option to remove the tree controls and view all versions instantly. Simply un-check the “Tree View” option as shown here:

You will notice in the above picture that when the “Tree View” is turned off you will see songs listed multiple times with the associated “View Name” listed after the song title. The system will remember your view preference for returning visits to the site.

If you like seeing a separate line for each version of each song, then you can always turn the “Tree View” off by unselecting that checkbox. If you like all the versions of the same song included neatly under the song “tree” (plus symbol), then make sure you select the “Tree View” checkbox.

In this way, you can views the way you like to.
